Our favorite quote:
“Know your farmer better than your doctor."

We believe that all food has healing properties from apples to zucchinis. It is important to us that all food is grown with respect for our planet. We achieve this by enriching and re-mineralizing the soil to get higher quality produce and healthier soil. We follow restorative practices of the land, animals, and plants, by rotating the animals on pastures to enrich the soil making the pasture more nutrient dense for foraging. By using all of these practices we believe that this creates a higher quality of meat, eggs, and produce.

We strongly believe that absolutely no chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, hormones, antibiotics, or vaccines should go into our animals, produce, or soil. Animals are to be cared for, respected, and treated humanely, that’s why our girls (our chickens) are pasture raised, fed the best grain we can afford, non-GMO, no corn or soy. Chickens are not vegetarians they are omnivores they love milk, bugs, worms, even a mouse from time to time. Our girls get to be chickens, out in the sunshine being with their flock, feet in the dirt scratching for bugs.

The farm may not be certified organic, however we are believers in going beyond the standard of what is called organic and that’s getting back to the way our great grandparents grew food and raised animals. If done correctly the animals keep the soil healthy and the produce that grows from that soil helps keep us healthy.

When we started on our own journey of eating healthy, in researching about farming and looking for the best ways to raise animals and grow produce while still being respectful to the earth, Our research found that in conventional farming the produce was not even slightly healthy for our consumption, the animals, or the earth.

We lived a less than healthy lifestyle before, after a time of eating healing foods that were beneficial to our bodies, we began to see not only physical changes but mental and emotional ones as well. Today there is overwhelming evidence connecting conventionally grown produce and meat are to several illnesses and diseases. Knowledge is power and knowing what is in your food is important and a step to a healthier you.

That is why we are committed to helping people on their own journey to a better, healthier lifestyle. One way to offer that is to have fresh chicken, eggs, and produce.

We would love to meet you and give you a tour of the farm. Let us know what we can do to help you!
